I have always been curious about the logic of entrepreneurial thinking. I accidentally saw a workshop on entrepreneurial thinking and was curious to attend. As a result, I found that the content of the workshop was extremely informative.

Problems of New Venture Teams

At the beginning of the workshop, the lecturer mentioned the problems of new venture teams. Entrepreneurs need to choose the right direction, be familiar with the market, and have a team with connections. I think this is very similar to personal career planning. In career planning, you need to think about what direction you want to go and what resources you can utilize. The CEO is the most important role in leading the team. He or she needs to find talent, raise capital, build a business model, and have an in-depth understanding of the market and marketing. When building a team, it’s best to avoid friends and family, as there is a “should” mentality that they should do things for each other. What we want to build is a team that will work together to achieve profitability.

Why do you want to start a business?

If the purpose of entrepreneurship is to pursue wealth freedom, time freedom, pursue your dream, and make the most of your profession, you will find that it is not easy to realize these four points in entrepreneurship. Freedom of wealth is not necessarily because of entrepreneurship, but because you have enough ability. The formula for wealth freedom is income minus desire. Therefore, if you want to realize wealth freedom, you need to think about how big your desire is, not just think about entrepreneurship to realize wealth freedom. It is impossible to be free of time while starting a business, and it is often a race against time to keep up with the latest trends in the market. If you want to realize your dream through entrepreneurship, then you need to consider whether your experience is suitable for the project you choose. If your previous experience doesn’t fit the project you’re starting, then the chances of success are relatively low. For example, if an apprentice bread maker and a person who has been working as an engineer both want to start a business selling bread, who has a higher chance of success?

The essence of business is trust

A business model is based on creating, exchanging, and acquiring value, so you need to think about whether your model can fulfill people’s desires. If it does, then your business model may be viable.

The lecturer also recommended some book lists, I think understanding business models is understanding human nature, and the process is quite interesting. The process is quite interesting. I would like to study how to build my business model.
