In this era of “Mock the poor, not the prostitute”, we can always see all kinds of glamorous life clips on social media but often ignore the unknown efforts and struggles behind them. Money, a word that we once thought was “vulgar”, has now become an indispensable part of our lives. As the popular Internet saying goes: “In the adult world, except for gaining weight and losing hair, nothing is easy, especially making money.” Today, let us explore in depth why money is so important to us and how it quietly changes the trajectory of our lives.

When we were young, we may have had the ambition to “regard money as dirt” and felt that talking about money was a synonym for vulgarity. However, as we grow older, we gradually realize that money is not only a tool to meet material needs but also the cornerstone of our pursuit of spiritual freedom and realization of life value.

In this materialistic society, food, clothing, housing, and transportation all require the support of money. From a cup of coffee in the morning to a light at night, every penny is silently weaving our lives. Not to mention, when we want to pursue higher education, a broader vision, and a richer experience, money becomes an indispensable bridge. As the golden sentence says: “Money is not everything, but without money, nothing is possible.”

“Poverty limits my imagination” is not just a joke on the Internet, but also a true portrayal of countless people in real life. When we are short of money, many seemingly simple wishes will become out of reach. For example, you want to enroll your child in an interest class, but find that the tuition is frighteningly high; you want to take your parents on a trip, but you don’t have enough money; even when you are sick and need treatment, you will hesitate because of financial pressure.

The little girl’s family is a microcosm of countless poor families in real life. They work hard for their livelihood but still find it difficult to get rid of the shackles of poverty. This kind of life is not only physically and mentally exhausting but also makes people lose confidence in the future. “Coptis is bitter, and having no money is even more bitter.” This kind of bitterness is deep in the bone marrow and difficult to describe.

However, money also has its positive side. When we have enough money, we can face the challenges and difficulties in life more calmly. We can choose better educational resources, better medical services, more comfortable living environments… These seemingly insignificant changes can invisibly improve our quality of life and happiness.

More importantly, money can also provide us with more choices and opportunities. For example, we can choose to start a business, invest, travel… These activities can not only broaden our horizons and increase our knowledge, but also allow us to go further and more steadily on the road to pursuing our dreams. As the Internet golden sentence says: “Money makes the world go round”, although it is exaggerated, it also reveals the huge role of money in some aspects.

In this competitive society, making money has become a compulsory course for adults. Whether it is for family responsibility, personal dreams, or social recognition, we need to constantly work hard to improve our ability to make money.

Of course, making money is not an easy thing. It requires us to work hard, endure tremendous pressure, and face countless challenges and failures. However, as long as we work hard and persevere, we will surely be able to reap our success and happiness.

Finally, I would like to end this article with one sentence: “In this world, nothing can make people feel more secure and at ease than working hard to make money.” Only when we have enough money can we face the storms and challenges of life more confidently and pursue our dreams and happiness more calmly. So, let’s work hard together! For a better life and a better future!
